1. How many seats are available for the summit?
A total of 100 seats, which consists of 10 fully funded spots, 20 partially funded spots, 20 summit pass spots and 50 self-funded spots.
2. What does Fully Funded, Partially Funded, and Self Funded mean?
I. Fully Funded Applicants will receive a one-way air ticket (designated amount reimbursement), twin sharing accommodation, a certificate, summit meals, a summit kit, airport transfers, a chance to win awards and a cultural evening ceremony.
ii. 50% off summit fee, Twin Sharing Accommodation, a Certificate, Meals, Airport Transfer, a Summit Kit, a chance to win awards and Cultural Evening Ceremony will be provided to Partially Funded applicants.
iii. Self-funded applicants will purchase our delegate package of 440 USD, which includes accommodation, meals, a certificate, a summit kit, airport transfer , a cultural evening ceremony and a chance to win awards
3. Why is there an application fee for applicants? Is this fee refundable?
To ensure we receive serious applications, we charge a minimal fee of $21.99 to process them. This fee is non-refundable and applies to all categories defined.
4. When is the application submission deadline?
The application deadline for the Universal Youth Leadership Summit 2026 in Thailand is January 15, 2026.
5. When will I be notified regarding the status of my application?
Results for partially and fully funded delegates will be released on 31st January 2026.
For self-funded delegates, results will be released two weeks after the interview.
6. Are there scholarships available ?
Yes, scholarships are available and are awarded at the discretion of our selection committee based on the strength of your application.
7. What are the selection criteria?
The application, social experience, and leadership of each participant are taken into consideration when the selection committee for the Universal Youth Movement decides which categories the applicants should be placed in. This decision is made at the committee’s discretion.
8. Will Universal Youth Movement provide visa services?
Universal Youth Movement is not a visa directory however UYM will provide the supporting document to facilitate the visa process.
9.What are the eligibility requirements to apply?
Youths between 16 and 35 years of age.
10. Why should I join UYLS - Thailand 2026?

11. How much would a Self-Funded Delegate pay?
A self-funded delegate would be required to pay $450 as the summit fee. Delegates will receive an invitation/visa support letter, a certificate, a summit kit, 4-star shared accommodation, meals, airport transportation, and much more.
