Objective
UYLS – Manila, Philippines 2023 aims to instill a culture of young leadership and prepare outstanding future leaders through a morally grounded strategy that places a premium on teaching young people patriotism, character, and global awareness.
Introduction
Universal Youth Movement is a team that uses all means at its disposal to help youth grow and flourish, aiming to produce exceptional future leaders by instilling high moral principles and promoting a sense of personal integrity. Hence, UYM created the UYLS series which aspires to establish a culture of young leadership and train exceptional future leaders through a morally based approach to education that emphasizes the cultivation of nationalism, character values, and international culture in the young generation. At the summit, young leaders from worldwide will gather to discuss and share strategies for safeguarding and empowering young people in their respective communities.
Aim
It is intended to engage youths and give them a deeper understanding of global issues. It will require skills in speaking, debating, and writing, as well as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. The summit will explore the role and importance of education in preventing the abuse and exploitation of young children, and the issue of social inclusion of youths in communities. The delegates will also gain diplomatic skills and knowledge of global issues through this summit, besides being embedded with the significance of diversity and inclusion.

1. How many seats are available for the summit?
A of 150 seats which consists of 15 fully funded spots, 20 partially funded spots, and 115 self-funded spots.
2. What does Fully Funded, Partially Funded, and Self Funded mean?
I. Fully Funded Applicants will receive a one-way air ticket (designated amount reimbursement), accommodation, a certificate, meals, a summit kit, airport transfers, a chance to win awards and a cultural evening ceremony.
ii. Accommodation, a Certificate, Meals, Airport Transfer, a Summit Kit, a chance to win awards and Cultural Evening Ceremony will be provided to Partially Funded applicants.
iii. Self-funded applicants will purchase our delegate package of 279 USD, which includes accommodation, meals, a certificate, a summit kit, airport transfer , a cultural evening ceremony and a chance to win awards
3. What is the delegate's application fee? Is the application fee refundable?
The application processing fee is only 18 $, is non-refundable in any circumstance, and applies to all categories defined.
4. When is the application submission deadline?
The application deadline for Universal Youth Leadership Summit 2023 in Manila, Philippines, is September 12th, 2023.
5. When will I be notified regarding the status of my application?
Results will be released on 02nd October 2023. The final confirmation of delegates is due by October 14th, 2023.
6. What is Selection Criteria?
The application, social experience, and leadership of each participant are taken into consideration when the selection committee for the Universal Youth Movement decides which categories the applicants should be placed in. This decision is made at the committee’s discretion.
7. Will Universal Youth Movement provide visa services?
Universal Youth Movement is not a visa directory however UYM will provide the supporting document to facilitate the visa process.
8. What is Eligibility to apply?
Youths between 16 and 35 years of age who are Extremely curious, highly motivated, fervent students and young professionals are encouraged to apply.
9. Why should I join UYLS - Manila 2023?
Delegates at the UYLS- Manila, 2023, will have access to workshops on various topics related directly or indirectly to sustainable development goals. In addition, keynote speakers who are experts in their respective fields will share their knowledge with attendees. Moreover, there will be networking opportunities so that participants can meet individuals with similar interests or objectives, which could lead to cross-border collaborations
10. How much would a Self-Funded Delegate pay?
A self-funded delegate at the UYLS-Manila 2023 would be required to pay $279 as the summit fee. Delegates will receive an invitation/visa support letter, a certificate, a summit kit, 4-star shared accommodation, meals, airport transportation, and many more.
